PEEF Scholarships For Master Level

PEEF (Pakistan Educational Endowment Fund) offers Master Level Scholarships for needy and deserving candidates studying in partner public sector universities or affiliated private institutes. It is indeed a great initiative by Punjab Govt. because in public sector universities there are number of students who face financial difficulties in continuing their studies.  PEEF Scholarships for Master Level facilitates the students so they may be able to continue their studies effectively.

Features

PEEF Scholarships for Master Level not only covers the 100% tuition fee of the university but also assign scholarship stipend to students to meet their other expenses that is Rs. 3000/- for day scholars and Rs. 5000/- for boarder students. This stipend would be distributed bi annually to the students. It is great help for students i would once again say because it would help them meet other study related, hostel charges and travelling expenses.

Eligibility 

PEEF Scholarship For Master Level is awarded to students who are studying in public sector university OR affiliated private institute OR a private candidates with 60% or more marks and more than 2.5 CGPA. Students who are already master or M.Phil degree holder are not eligible to apply. Further the monthly family income shall not exceed Rs.15000/-. When applying for the scholarship, you must not be receiving scholarship from any other sources.

Application

Student can apply for PEEF Scholarships in their institute, institute would proceed the application. Along with application student would have to provide the required documents and needed evidences of income etc. University/institute would provide the details of fee to PEEF.

Australian Scholarships 2013-14

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) at Australian Universities

Australian Govt. has announced scholarships for international students for programs of MS/PhD. Deadline for Australian scholarships 2013-24 varies from July-Oct and the course would start in 2014. There are particular universities which are offering International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) the list of those can found by clicking this link. The scholarship covers tuition fee, health allowances and living cost.

Eligibility Criteria requires you to be an international student, meet international visa requirement, enrolled in higher degree research program, not holding the equivalent research degree for which you are applying, have not held AUSAID scholarship in previous two years, will not be receiving scholarship under any other scheme.

Applications of scholarships are made directly to the participating university.

British Government's Chevening Scholarships for Pakistani Nationals


The British Government has announced British Chevening Scholarships for Pakistani nationals. British Chevening Scholarship, are the most prestigious awards available to international students for study in the United Kingdom. These scholarships gives professionals of Pakistan to get admission in UK's top institutes and develop their professional skills to help build the country.

Scholarship is available for the following subjects:
Security and Counter Terrorism, Governance and Democracy, Regional stability and conflict resolution, Media & Communications, *Economic Growth

Eligibility:
Scholarships are awarded to Pakistani nationals of high intellectual ability who will play a formative role in Pakistan’s development.
Applicants:
  • Must have good English (written & spoken). IELTS will be required if selected for Chevening scholarship.
  • Ambitious driven Pakistani nationals with leadership skills who are committed to the betterment of their society.
  • Must have a Masters’ degree or a four-year Bachelors degree from any recognised university in Pakistan or the equivalent form an overseas institution
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience
  • Must be Pakistani citizens. Dual nationals are not eligible
  • Must not have received in the past three years any British government funded academic award
Duration & Value:
British Chevening Scholarships are for one year taught postgraduate study in the UK. These are full scholarships funded by the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office, that cover tuition fees for most courses (up to *£12,000), a monthly stipend, allowances and air travel.

Australian Scholarships for Pakistani Students



AusAID, the Australian Government's program for aiding the developing countries has announced scholarships for Pakistani students for 2012. These scholarships will be given for postgraduate studies under the Australian Development Scholarships program.  This program has been redesigned in consultation with the Government of Pakistan to increasingly align its objectives with Pakistan's development priorities. The scholarships cover the full cost of travel to and from Australia, tuition fees and a living allowance for the duration of the academic course.
