When will PU reopen???

It is still not confirmed that whether Punjab University will resume its activities from 19th April 2010 or not?

As the teachers of Punjab University are observing strike after a university Professor has been brutally beaten by IJT students. Teachers refused to take classes and students are forced to sit in their homes aimless.

Most of you people must be dying of these un-scheduled vacations and have got bored. At least i am!!! I am finding it the most disturbing for the students who are in their final semesters and were supposed to get done with their programs in June. Don't have idea what will happen!!! Have heard that VC has said to ON Saturdays (which are off) and Vice Chancellor has also said that university classes will resume from 19th April 2010. Now lets see how far these statements are acted upon.
